(Muscatine, IA) -- A high-speed chase ends in a crash Wednesday in Muscatine.
The city of Muscatine says officers from the county's Drug Task Force served a search warrant when the suspects in the investigation sped away from the scene, leading officers on a high-speed chase. The suspects' vehicle crashed about 10 minutes later, and they then fled on foot. Investigators say the situation was quickly contained, though there were reports of gunshots. It hasn't been confirmed who fired the shots.
The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation is looking into the case.
