Omaha Police are investigating a homicide and have released the name of the victim.
Officers were called to the area of 39th and Maple Streets late Wednesday evening for a report of shots fired.
Police say they found 31-year old Larozion Reis in a parking lot, suffering from gunshot wounds.
Omaha Fire Paramedics took Reis to a hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Anyone with information is asked to call "Omaha Crime Stoppers" anonymously at 402- 444-STOP.
Omaha Police also say two people were hurt earlier Wednesday evening when shots were fired around 33rd and Parker Streets.
Investigators say one victim was taken to the hospital by rescue squad and the other by private car with what turned out to be non-life threatening injuries.
