(Iowa City, IA) -- The Iowa City Housing Authority is receiving criticism for closing the waiting list for housing vouchers this coming July 1st.
The agency says with 10-thousand names on the list, and only 16-hundred housing vouchers available from HUD, its best use of resources is to focus on those already in the program.
