(Davenport, IA) -- A Quad Cities business improvement group is announcing a record year of financial investment.
The Downtown Davenport Partnership awarded improvement grants to 15 buildings last year totaling $1.6-million.
The funds were earmarked for building improvements like brick and masonry work, electrical, plumbing, and architectural design.
Two of the biggest projects that received grants are the new Garrison restaurant in the Redstone Building, and the Great River Brewery near the Government Bridge that reopens Friday after being closed since the flood of 2019.
