The Meteorologists at the Omaha National Weather Service Office in Valley say they are still expecting a line of strong to severe storms to impact portions of the Omaha/Council Bluffs area Tuesday afternoon and early evening.
However, there are other factors in the forecast: if morning clouds and showers/storms show up and linger for longer than anticipated, the threat could decrease for much of the area.
If the storms bring heavy rain, they are expected to move pretty quickly, cutting down on the flood threat on already saturated ground.
