(Bettendorf, IA) -- Beginning on Monday, June 10th, a section of Criswell Street north of Hopewell Avenue in Bettendorf will be closed to vehicle traffic as crews begin replacing drainage culverts that cross underneath the street. Forest Grove will then reopen and serve as a detour route, along with Hopewell Avenue. The closure is expected to last a week, until Monday, June 17th.
This comes as the city begins the final phase of a project that started back in May.
A press release from the City of Bettendorf says that in the middle of June, Scott County is scheduled to begin replacing two bridges on Wells Ferry Road just east of Criswell Street. These projects will require full road bridge closures and detours will be posted that may coincide with other detours put in place by the city.
