(Iowa City, IA) -- An incoming University of Iowa gymnast will compete in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
Aurelie Tran, a native of Canada, accepted a full athletic scholarship at the University of Iowa and will be part of Team Canada for this year's Olympic games. Tran won silver in the all around Canadian Gymnastics Championships in earlier this year.
She'll be the first member of the Iowa Hawkeye Women's Gymnastics team to compete in the Olympics.
