(Des Moines, IA) -- Des Moines Police are sharing new details about a deadly stabbing. Police say 19-year-old Abdelmagid Elzubeir of Des Moines was stabbed Tuesday, June 11th. Police say his brother, 16-year-old Mohamed Elzubeir has been charged with First Degree Murder.
Offficers were called to 926 Oakridge Drive Tuesday around 10:15 a.m. on a report of a stabbing. Abdelmagid Elzubeir was found suffering from a stab wound to the neck. He was transported to Unity Point-Methodist Medical Center, where he died. Police say officers located Mohamed Elzubeir within minutes of their arrival Tuesday.
