(West Des Moines, IA) -- A new awareness campaign hopes to prevent and combat cancer in Iowa's rural communities.
The Farmers Against Cancer campaign is raising funds and awareness to connect rural Iowans to treatments and screenings needed to prevent, detect, treat and survive the disease.
Iowa ranks second in the nation in cancer cases, and has the fastest-growing rate of new cancers in the country.
