Severe Weather Expected In Eastern Iowa This Afternoon

(Davenport, IA) -- A cold front from the north will slam into hot, humid air in eastern Iowa later today making for some potentially dangerous weather.

National Weather Service meteorologist Andy Ervin says Cedar Rapids, and the Quad Cities can expect storms between 2 and 6 this afternoon.

High winds, large hail, and the possibility for tornadoes are the potential threats.
