Police have made an arrest for a homicide in Runnells on Friday morning.
The Polk County Sheriff's Office says 35-year-old Jacob Cole Harbold is charged with first degree murder in the death of 50-year-old Richard David Selby.
Officers responded to a shooting this morning shortly after 1 a.m. at 4532 SE 116th Street in Runnells.
When they arrived, they found Selby dead inside a home.
Harbold was arrested by Des Moines Police around 3:30 a.m. this morning.
Police say the suspect and the victim knew each other.
