(Cedar Falls, IA) -- A Cedar Falls Police officer is out of the hospital after being injured Tuesday night while pulling someone over.
The Cedar Falls Police Department says the officer pulled Mackenzie Christiansen over just before midnight Tuesday. Investigators say Christiansen sped away with the officer hanging from the car. He was eventually thrown from the car and taken to an area hospital.
Christiansen was later taken into custody and is facing multiple charges.
