Nebraska Regents Approve Tuition Hike, Million Dollar Salary for President

(Lincoln, NE) -- Students at the University of Nebraska will be paying more for the 2024-25 school year. The Board of Regents met Thursday and approved a 3.5% hike at all four system campuses. That means the rate has been hiked twice in the last two years, amounting to 7% total. The Board of Regents also approved the contract for new system president Dr. Jeffrey Gold. He will make $1.05 million over five years.
