(Des Moines, IA) -- A fatal pedestrian crash occurred in Des Moines, Iowa, resulting in the death of a six-year-old boy.
The incident took place at 2201 George Flagg Parkway on Sunday afternoon.
Despite CPR efforts and transportation to a local hospital, the victim passed away.
The crash is currently being investigated, and it marks the ninth traffic-related fatality in Des Moines this year, with three involving pedestrians.
Charges for the driver have not been mentioned yet.
