(Rock Island, IL) -- Rock Island is buying another vacant building.
City Council voted last night to buy the former Fancy Street Clock & Light company building across from the Police Station on 5th Avenue for $20,000.
The building has sat vacant since 2011.
The city is soliciting bids for demolition.
