(Des Moines, IA) -- Road closures have started in preparation for the Des Moines Arts Festival at Western Gateway Park, which draws over 200,000 attendees annually.
The 27th annual event has closed several streets in the area, including 12th, 13th, and 15th streets between Grand Avenue and Locust Street, as well as Locust between 10th and 16th streets.
On Thursday, artists will set up booths along Grand Avenue between 10th and 16th streets.
