(Des Moines, IA) -- Des Moines Police are looking for a suspect who forced his way into a woman's Easter Lake area home Wednesday night. Police say the suspect, 52-year-old Robert Daniel Gonzales, rang the woman's doorbell and forced his way inside her home when she came to the door.
The woman told police over several hours, he restrained her at times and then forced her to drive him around the city to withdrawal cash from ATMs. Police say he eventually dropped her off at home and stole her car, which was later found by police at Wal Mart on SE14th Street.
Gonzales is 5’06” in height, and weighs 209 lbs.
Police say Gonzalez was acquainted with the victim, because he had done some repair work for her.
Anyone with any information regarding the location of Gonzales is asked to call 911.
