(Iowa) -- Iowa gas prices are up heading into the Independence Day holiday.
Triple A reports the average price for regular unleaded in Iowa is $3.33 a gallon, up 12 cents from this time last week. Prices are trending higher in central and northeastern Iowa and lower in southern and north western Iowa. The average national price for regular unleaded is $3.50 a gallon.
