(Iowa City, IA) -- The beginning of July marks an increase in utilities fees in Iowa City.
Effective today, water rates are now 3-percent higher.
The Wastewater fee is now 5-percent higher, and the fee for curbside recycling in Iowa City has gone up $1 per month.
