Fremont Teen's Body Recovered From Platte

The Dodge County, Nebraska Sheriff's Office says the body of a missing teen is recovered from the rapidly flowing Platte River.

The body of 17-year-old Jackson Potter of Fremont was found Thursday afternoon near Sokol Camp, south of Valley, two miles east of the Highway 64 bridge.

Jackson Potter was swept away by the rain-swollen river south of Fremont on Sunday night.

His body was found 11 miles from where he was last seen.
