(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- One person is recovering after a shooting in Cedar Rapids Monday night.
The Cedar Rapids Police Department says officers responded to reports of the shooting around 10:15pm Monday and found several people at the scene, one with a gunshot wound. That person was taken to an area hospital in serious but stable conditions.
The victim's injuries are not considered life-threatening. Police say no arrests have been made, though everyone officers encountered at the scene are being interviewed, including the person investigators believe fired the gun.
Police say all of the people found at the scene know each other.
