(Polk County, IA) -- There's new information about a deadly head-on crash in Ankeny. The Polk County Sheriff's Office says 10-year-old Maxwell Amenson of Polk City died after the crash, July 7th in the 7400 block of NW Fisher Drive. A second juvenile in the same vehicle was injured. Investigators say two people in the other vehicle were treated and released for minor injuries.
The Sheriff's Office says the investigation into the cause of the crash continues. .
