(Ankeny, IA) -- The annual Ankeny Chamber Summerfest begins today.
The festival runs through the weekend in The District at Prairie Trail. Events include a family fun night Friday from 4pm-8pm in Uptown Ankeny, live music, more than 40 vendors, an on-site carnival, and more. Attendees are asked to park at DMACC and take a shuttle to the main entrance. Shuttles will run throughout the festival, which ends with a fireworks show around 9:30pm Sunday.
