(Des Moines, IA) -- The Des Moines Police Department and Des Moines Fire Department conducted a water rescue Friday.
DMPD says officers assisted the Des Moines Fire Department in conducting the rescue near SW 2nd Street as someone appeared to be struggling in the Des Moines River. The condition of the person rescued has not been released, nor that person's identity.
