(Iowa City, IA) -- The National Weather Service is teaming up with the city of Iowa City to recruit weather data collectors.
Megan Hill, Iowa City's Climate Action Engagement Specialist, says the training will teach volunteers to gather data to help forecasters get a more precise snapshot of daily precipitation.
