(Davenport, IA) -- The U.S. Department of Labor is recovering more than 48-thousand-dollars in back wages and damages for 18 employees at two Davenport restaurants.
Investigators found that both locations of El Compita Mexican Bar and Grill wrongly classified cooks as salary exempt, and denied them overtime pay.
