Omaha Police say a child who was hit by a vehicle while riding a scooter has died from her injuries as police continue to investigate.
Last Thursday, near 102nd and Grant Streets, police say the 11-year- old female had entered the roadway from a driveway while riding an electric scooter and was hit by a northbound vehicle.
Investigators say the un-helmeted child was taken to a hospital with critical injuries.
