(Cedar Falls, IA) -- One man is recovering in the hospital after driving his car into a private pond in Cedar Falls.
Cedar Falls Public Safety says they received reports of the incident a little after midnight on Wednesday. The man's neighbors along with emergency crews were able to get to the car using a small boat. They were able to get the driver out of the sinking car, and he was taken to a local hospital.
The incident remains under investigation.
