(Bettendorf, IA) -- One of the Quad Cities is preparing for some major new development.
Bettendorf council is approving initial plans for the extension of sewer service along Middle Road north of Interstate 80.
The $10.3-million sewer expansion would open up 18-hundred acres for future development in what the city says is a high growth area.
A public hearing on the plan will be held August 20th before a final vote to solicit bids for contracts.
