(Winterset, IA) -- A lightning strike early Wednesday morning is causing communication problems for the Madison County Sheriff's Office.
The Sheriff's Office says lighting struck its building during early morning storms, causing its non-emergency phone lines to go down. 9-1-1 services are still available, and the Madison County Sheriff's Office says work to restore their administrative phone lines is underway.
