(Scott County, IA) -- A dump truck driver walked away from a crash with a freight train in southeastern Iowa.
WQAD News 8 reports the crash happened at around 12:30 p.m. this afternoon at the intersection of Highway 67 and 245th Avenue between Bettendorf and LeClaire.
The Scott County Sheriff's Office says the truck was hit by the train and pushed down the tracks past the intersection of Highway 67 and 244th Avenue.
They say the truck driver was able to walk out of the truck's cab, however, the extent of his injuries are not yet known.
The crash is still under investigation.
