(Iowa) -- A southeastern Iowa man now holds the record for growing the world's largest eggplant.
Dave Bennet of Davis County set a new world record growing an eggplant weighing in at 8.33 pounds. The Iowa Weights and Measures Bureau verified the official weight, which is being added to world record books.
