(Rock Island, IL) -- The nomination window to recognize outstanding citizens in one of the Quad Cities is now open.
Rock Island's 37th annual Citizen of the Year Awards will salute residents in nine categories including Youth, Education, Veteran, and City Employee.
Winners will be recognized during the August 26th city council meeting, and ride in the Rock Island Labor Day Parade on September 2nd.
