(Waukee, IA) -- One person is dead after a stabbing Monday morning in Waukee.
The Waukee Police Department says crews responded to reports of the stabbing around 11:30am Monday. Investigators say crews found 23 year-old Brian McGee at a residence suffering from a stab wound. McGee was rushed to an area hospital but later died of his injuries. Police say a 16 year-old has been taken into custody in connection with the stabbing.
Police say the stabbing was an isolated incident, and there's no threat to the public.
