Arson Arrest In Southwest Omaha Fire

The Omaha Fire Department says a suspect is arrested in connection with an arson fire.

Firefighters arrived at a house near 166th and Pierce Streets and put out fires in different locations in the home.

Fire investigators determined the Tuesday fire was intentionally set by a person who had left the scene prior to their arrival.

With the assistance of the Omaha Police Uniform Patrol, that person was located and booked for arson.

No injuries are reported, and two people were displaced.
