With just a handful of outages reported, Omaha Public Power District crews pretty much finish restoration of electrical service a little over a week after the hurricane-force windstorm knocked out electricity to about 218 thousand OPPD customers.
Earlier in the week, the utility had set a goal of full restoration by Friday night.
Douglas and Sarpy Counties were the focal point of the outages, along with Cass, Washington, and Saunders Counties.
