(Pacific Junction, IA) -- An outdoor concert was about to begin when shots rang out in the parking lot at the I-29 Speedway near Pacific Junction south of Council Bluffs. Two men, 28-year-old Marcus Johnson, and 27-year-old Charles Williams Jr., both from Omaha, were killed. The Iowa State Patrol helicopter was used to help search for reportedly three suspects. Both the Mills County Sheriff and Iowa State Patrol report on police dispatch, that the suspects are likely in a black Mercedes and should be considered armed and dangerous. Law enforcement is asking anyone who has information about the shooting to contact the Mills County Sheriff’s Office at 712-527-4871.
