(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- A man from Cedar Rapids found guilty of beating his domestic partner so bad court documents say she was unrecognizable is going to prison.
Forty-seven year-old Richard Brown was found guilty of attempted murder and was sentenced to 14 years in jail.
He apologized to the victim in court citing addiction abuse.
