(Lincoln, NE) -- The Nebraska Supreme Court Chief Justice is retiring. Chief Justice Mike Heavican has served on the state's high court since 2006. His will retire in October. The Judicial Nominating Committee will solicit names to Governor Jim Pillen for his consideration on a replacement.
