(Pleasant Hill, IA) -- A water buffalo got loose in Pleasant Hill this weekend.
911 callers and social media witnesses reported the water buffalo wandering through back yards this afternoon.
It was spotted inside a neighbor's garage, and even photo walking through a drive thru bank teller lane.
The owner was reportedly following the water buffalo trying to get it back into its animal trailer.
Pleasant Hill Police put the animal down after it ran into four lanes of traffic on University Avenue.
