(Altoona, IA) -- No one is hurt after a church in Altoona had to be evacuated this morning due to a punctured natural gas line.
The Altoona Fire Department says construction workers accidentally ruptured the gas line around 8:15am. MidAmerican Energy sent crews to repair the rupture, and nearby Lutheran Church of the Cross was evacuated out of caution.
