(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- One person is recovering after being in a shooting that also ruptured a gas line in Cedar Rapids Saturday night.
The shooting happened in the 800 block of 3rd Avenue SW around 11:15pm. The Cedar Rapids Police Department say the occupants of two separate vehicles were shooting at each other. One person who was not involved in the shooting was hit in the foot. Police say two vehicles, three homes, and a gas line were hit by gunfire.
The person who was hurt is expected to make a full recovery. So far no arrests have been made, and the shooting remains under investigation.
