(Des Moines, IA) -- The Des Moines Police Department is asking the public's help in locating an attempted murder suspect.
DMPD says 50 year-old Chad "Stormy" Luesebrink is wanted in connection to a shooting on August 26th. Police say the shooting took place at a homeless camp near the 1600 block of SE Harriet Street and left one woman injured.
Investigators say Luesebrink regularly visits homeless camps downtown and near the river. Police say he is likely armed with a handgun, and the public should not approach him.
Anyone who sees him should call 9-1-1.
