(Ames, IA) -- The Iowa State Cyclones welcome North Dakota Saturday, August 30th for the season opener. Kick-off is at 2:30 p.m. at Jack Trice Stadium.
ISU Police Chief Michael Newton says some fans rolled into Ames Friday. Gates open Saturday at 8:30 a.m. He also says traffic is expected to be heavy, but is expected to be staggered before the game, due to fans arriving at different times. Chief Newton says, however, after the game is typically the most congested as tens of thousands of football fans start leaving.
