Illinois Corrections Officer Needs Narcan After Being Exposed To Drugs

(Thomson, IL) -- The federal prison in Thomson, Illinois was on lockdown yesterday after another staff member was exposed to narcotics.

An officer had an adverse reaction to what was believed to be amphetamines, requiring a life-saving dose of Narcan before being taken to hospital.

The Thomson prison went on lockdown two weeks ago after another Corrections Officer needed Narcan after being exposed to narcotics.
