(Des Moines, IA) -- The Animal Rescue League of Iowa is hosting a Clear the Shelters adoption event this weekend.
The event starts tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. with a "CyHawk Kickoff Pawty" at ARL Main and ARL Animal Services in Des Moines.
The ARL says all dogs and cats 6 months and older will have adoption fees of $35 tomorrow, Friday, September 6 through Saturday, September 7.
All dogs and cats have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
Adopters will receive discounts on ARL training classes and at the Animal House store.
Adopters can also enter to win free pet food for a year.
