(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- The Union Pacific's "Big Boy" 40-14 steam locomotive is parked in Cedar Rapids for the night. The world's largest steam locomotive (weighing 1.2 million lbs) is on a Heartland of America tour and leaves Iowa tomorrow (Friday). Earlier today it stopped in Belle Plaine, where it attracted hundreds of fans. The locomotive leaves for Sterling, Illinois tomorrow (Friday) morning at 9 o'clock.
The locomotive will continue on a multi-state journey, thru October 23rd.
