(Davenport, IA) -- Davenport has whittled the candidates for new city administrator down to five people.
They were on-hand at a meet and greet last night at the Figge Museum.
The five include Doug Maxiener, former city administrator for Moline and East Moline, and former city managers from Virginia, Kentucky, Georgia, and Orland Park, Illinois.
The candidates will go through several rounds of interviews this week by elected officials, community stakeholders and the selection committee.
Three candidates will be recommended to city council.
