(Omaha, NE) -- Omaha Fire says smoke that rose above the city this morning was a result of a small fire left unattended at a homeless encampment near 11th and Locust. That fire spread to a storage lot at Jones Barrel Company and ignited plastic storage containers. Containers that caught fire were empty and did not contain harmful chemicals. No injuries are reported at this time.
