(Omaha, NE) -- Seven people are in custody after an attempted robbery at Sol's Jewelry and Loan at 142nd and U Street(s). Omaha Police say a suspect vehicle was found, and that several people between the ages of 13 and 44 were taken in for questioning. Investigators say they searched multiple residences related to the Sol's case and other robberies, burglaries, and auto thefts, subsequently finding guns and evidence from several recent crimes.
An Omaha Police Department press release states the following people were arrested in connection:
- 14-year-old boy booked for robbery and attempted robbery
- Detevious Williams, 20, booked for four counts of accessory to a felony
- Kiara Buckley, 22, booked for flight to avoid arrest and accessory to a felony
- Andrea Kilgore, 19, booked for attempted robbery, use of a weapon to commit a felony, possession of a stolen firearm and robbery
- Sendaetwon Buckley, 19, booked for accessory to a felony and a warrant
- 15-year-old boy booked for obstruction, possession of a stolen firearm, and two counts of possession of a handgun by a juvenile
- Akil-Thaditi Buckley, 44, booked for two counts of tampering with evidence, and two counts of possession of a gun by a prohibited person.
OPD says the Douglas County Sheriff's Office and federal authorities were also involved in the investigation.
